The initial dress fitting should happen a few months after you place your order. If there is discomfort of any kind let the fitter know now. The second fitting should occur one month before the big day. Try to bring someone along with you on this trip to learn how to help you get into your gown. The final fitting should then come two weekd prior to the date of the big day.
